Someday Poem by Ludolf Dauphin

Someday

Someday I like to sit quietly
never listen to a word
Ignoring all and everything
as the world speaks her many languages
Wind chiming thunders rumbling
But my mind, at that moment no longer alive
Like that empty shell in the mirror
Staring back at me, cold

Someday I shut my eyes tightly
Oblivious to everyone, and everything
Not a silhouette of her essence caught my eyes
the world still moving
But in my mind, is as if it froze in time
At night, when her dress changes from white to dark
She would glow but far away, beautifully
Still not my worry

Someday, if and when I decide to awake
As new day after new days draws upon me, and
all I have left is a past of no memories,
a future full of regrets, but still
there would not be any worry
It is never too late to start anew and start living
Never be afraid.
cause someday things just as it is
Whatever will be, will be.
