You brought sunshine into my life,
And nothing felt the same again.
You made me laugh, you made me sigh;
But why did you suddenly want to make me cry?
Was it too much that I asked,
Or were we on the rocks from the start?
Still I try to hang on to you,
Thinking that you’d be mine.
Let’s not think of a tomorrow
Today looks just fine..
Maybe,
If we’d only give it a chance
We might,
To our heart’s consent
Be together
Like two sweethearts wanting love
At the same time.
