Somehow.
i was not incapable of love.
but somehow love was not enough.
i was able to see you clearly
to see what you could
eventually be.
Somehow i was able to see
how much you really meant to me.
but somehow you weren't happy.
so you had quit,
and given up on
our relationship.
oh how i wish i could move on
but then i go r'member our song.
Somehow i knew it was a quits
i kinda figured it's too good to be true.
when you walked away you
stole my heart
and you taking it from me
was the very worst part.
Somehow i was not incapable of love
but somehow love was not enough.
and somehow you gave it up...
and quit...
