Everyone needs someone to love
and my choice has always been you.
I never have doubted my choice at all
and I don't know what I would do.

Without you to hold me
and keep me by your side,
without you to soothe me
every time I cried,
without you to listen
to all I confide,
without you to encourage me
and show me such pride.

These are the things that came to me
when my choice for love was you.
I consider myself one of the lucky ones
and somehow I always knew
that you were the one I needed to love.
I needed to love just you.
