If someone loves you
they just do
you might treat them like an old shoe
but if you do
their love only makes them blue
But they still hold love for you

If you love someone
and you really do
You treat them kind
Your care is gentle and true
and just bubbles up from a spring
somewhere inside of you

Love is blind sometimes
your heart it binds
and your care sticks like glue
there isn't much you can do
but follow your heart
After you've given somone the best part

But if someone doesn't feel your love
though it's honest and real
Fate has handed you a raw deal
Just be kind and keep them in mind
To meet someone who moves you
is so hard to find

Someone one will notice you
somewhere someday
Will have a heart for you too
They'll see the tears in your eyes
and will kiss away your blue
Just because they love you for you

If someone loves you
Never take that gift for granted
Once love has been planted
You have to open your heart
With innocent hopes and dreams
To ever feel something enchanted
