Something Odd Poem by Tandra Banerjee

Something Odd

Rating: 5.0

Life restless so your vulnerable love
changing from mountain to ocean
from birth to death - the perfect unlikeness
deceive me when you hold my hand
in a disco floor behaving like a stranger
I wish to avoid you with your
all sensational touch
but my mind says different.

We are living under the same roof

Unknown to each other talking about
politics, climate and budget
a common minimum asset
we are pretending as happy
as made for each other
playing with our shadows
I wish I would punish you
but my sense doesn't permit.
