Something That I Never Would Have Expected

a system of elapsed time
shoots through my body as it does your name
everything feeling as still as water
nothing making any sense
light shines so hard on days like this
each body and motion defined
truth looks so wrong from this angle
i've never been so intact with the world
seeing right through you
tearing apart your thoughts
colors aranged alphabetically in our novel
i'll show you what i see
in a matrix; location; perfection
a way out is usual
i'll find my path back
i'll find my path back
and i'll stay here for never
for you are burning in transfix
dark hits so hard on nights like this
each body and each motion undefined
toxic in my veins; i'm lost
you say nothing, you think nothing
i know nothing about you
you're just another person in this fucked up world
unusual, and i can't find my path back
and we all look
this is something that never-
this is something that i never...

And this is something that I never... too. This piece actualy tells us to be careful ofthe people made of glass, because we can see right through them for the treacherous beings thy are. But we can also see through the love we have for someone else too. A very good life poem, Brittany. A 10+++++. Love & hugs, Barbara
