Something To Stay Alive Poem by sejal aggarwal

Something To Stay Alive

Do you love me?
You and me- we?
I have loved you forever and a day,
Attention's all i need, the same way.
Am I so bad?
Dear lad?
Spoke lies to mom and dad,
Never-joining hearts after the fight we had.
I am mad,
So are you less?
I am mad,
So shall you and I mess?
But this humour and disaster,
Why don't they stay same?
Myself hurt and this plaster,
Because I don't have fame?
I'll be your queen, and you be my man,
Admist all we can.
We'll show the world what we are,
Love has STRENGTH, Love has POWER.
But all this stays a dream,
No cake walk, I slip on the cream.
You're perfect, but we not,
Loose ends, who'll tie the knot?
Am I so worst?
Allowed my tears to burst?
This anger, impatience, broken in all,
Everyday, only and only for you I fall.
Always wanted a boy, load and tall,
And we'll live in the forest, a house small.
As i lure back and forth to you,
I can't believe the changes, you're all new.
Like the lather of coffee wipped, you blew,
For all us, out of the blue.
What adequance did my love sustain?
I blew, couldn't remain?
Never thought about this end,
Neither a vibe we send.
Who calls you my best friend?
When each other's shoes we couldn't mend?
For a time being, can your heart i rent?
With a friend, leaving me alone, you just went..
I can't see the wind, but I feel it,
Sobbing and hurted of my being, every bit.
Blew off the candles we once lit,
Previous memories on this helpless heart can hit.
Such is my life,
Am I even alive?
Dying inside out,
Weeping and in my head is a doubt.
Were we ever bound?
Were you to be around?
Did as your queen, i was to crown?
I AM BROWN.
But i find nights more amusing,
You lean on, accusing.
Can't you see what I am?
A dead creature, rotten ham.
No more flowery words,
Lead free to free imprisoned birds.
Now on different ways we go,
Just where the wind can blow.
New seeds would never sow!
Different paths,
Hurted hearts.
We don't turn back,
Love we don't lack.
It's just the world who let us apart,
But a truth from my heart.
You can never ever depart.
You said I really really really love you,
Stupid me, I had no clue.
That if we remove 'L' from lover,
All left is just over.
Over and over again,
Lost hearts we can't regain.
What goes, has gone,
Vegetarians eating prawns.
We've decided the future ourselves,
Hammer as it dwells.
Once gold too has to rust,
And we are hurt up to the crust.
And neither are we the almighty,
Who can decide the reality.
All we can do is just hope,
'Wait alone' said Pope.
The leisure of being two,
Depart anytime, you know.
I do woe.
On the broken heart,
Did all at my part.
Are YOU fine?
Did YOU shine?
I find my world in smiling you,
That's what'll bring me in blue!
