Something Told Me Poem by Gail Grierson

Something Told Me

I looked up and felt that you were there,
Something told me I was on your mind;
Wish that you were really next to me,
Free to do whatever we’re inclined.

Then you called and we conversed awhile,
Proving what I thought indeed was true;
But I’d prefer to see you face-to-face,
Enjoying precious moments spent with you.

Though we’re not far apart in miles, it’s true,
The road between is keeping you from me;
Just try to find some time to get away,
And I’ll arrange to meet you, you will see.
