Somethings Taking Over Poem by Matthew Petranovich

Somethings taking over,
I can not see,
Somethings taking over,
is it misery?
I try my best to stay in
control,
but somethings taking over
my world.

Is it negativity,
in my brain,
that I can't control,
and it seems to be running
around my world,
and can I get rid of this,
craziness.
Hopefully, hopeing,
to get rid of negativity.
But it drives me insane,
can't get it out of my brain,
and I can barely maintain,
a peace of mind,
and I feel I'm getting behind,
maybe drowning,
I might need a life line,
But through this negativity,
I try to have a good time.

Negativity is inside of me,
can't stop it from showing,
and it sucks feeling it
and knowing,
that you just want to let it
out,
All you want to do,
is scream and SHOUT!
And tell these people
to walk off,
to get out of here,
but I think what's holding
me back is fear,
but negativity
takes control,
and now I know it's running my world

It's running my world,
and everything around me,
it is confusing and confounding,
you can tell by the way I'm sounding.
That I try to hide this negativity,
Hopefully soon, maybe I'll have an
epiphany,
or a dream that will makes this go
away,
before my brain goes wack,
and I'm yelling may day.
but hey,
I can do this,
I can get rid of it,
I'm a survivor,
and I've lived through
alot I can admit.
this is another challenge in
my mind.
I'm not letting it take over,
I'll just put it all behind.
