Sometimes I Am Caught In This Moment Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Sometimes I Am Caught In This Moment

Sometimes I am caught in this moment with you. I can’t see anything, but your head is just in the way. Can I think for a moment, maybe even get outside to the feel the air?

Can I walk alone; maybe even try to recollect my thoughts. Ponder for a while, walk around another couple of seconds.

I can feel the wind against my hand, outside of my car window.
I have everything right here and I am not going anywhere.

As I look out of my window, I can see life all around me.
You know that life, is full of up and down’s.
Never knowing, of what it is going to do?

Well I was almost at the driveway; I pulled up and sat in the car for a while.
Just pondering of what I am going to do?

So I walked inside. Then I was searching for a beer in the fridge.
Then I found myself a chair. Put on the television, then I sat there until my beer was done.
