Standing Still With You Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Standing Still With You

Well you know my heart will always be yours, but when I look into your eyes they just make me want to cry. You know I am always standing here, just standing still until you hold my hand. Even if you are alone sometimes, I would cry for you a million miles away. You know I like to stand with you and your smile could bright up my entire night. So when I am standing still, I can feel the cold running down my spine. But when you hold me close, I can feel your warmness going through me. So when I am standing alone, I can feel the cold cold wind blowing against my face. So I will ask you this one more time. My heart will always be yours forever.
