Son, A Guest Poem by Meenal Manikantan

Son, A Guest

The day has finally come
For you to leave your home.
World will now foster
The tender raw youngster
Start your flight straight up
Steer forward non stop
Life has lots to allure
With varied form and color

View the right in all that
Let the lens never shut
That wrapped in His grace
Follow you to every place
Be the strong unshaken
Knowing the fair path chosen
Love all on your way
Keeping safe distance away

Seed from the pod that burst
Speak of the son turn a guest.
