Song Of Humanity Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Song Of Humanity

One that has a heart so supple
That beats for the helpless
Irrespective of caste-
Colour, creed and religion
Extending a helping hand
Each time saving some one
Availing a chance even to die for.

When, it saves such a person-
It saves not only a single one
But, the entire family-
Saving their hopes, their future
Helping thus, the whole humanity.

Safe link of faith versus illusion
Social status twists once again
On a high humanity first-
Making its own musical-notes
Singing the song of humanity.

A very thoughtful and wonderful poem. A heartwarming write well executed. Liked the second stanza, the heartbeat of the poem.
