Sonnet Poem by S.C. Setai

Sonnet

I ride slowly through the wood,
on the bright summer's day,
there the colorful flowers and plants stood,
and this place for ever could I stay.
The sun shines so bright through the trees,
casting its spell on the world,
and on the ground are shadows of leaves,
and the autumn leaves lie brown and curled.
The forest is white now, with frost and snow,
Winter has come with wind so cold,
Violently it attacks the wood with its blow,
and saifly by my fire am I stowed.
Now the spring is come back,
and over the year again will I track.
