Sonnet: A Christian's Crosses Of Life Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: A Christian's Crosses Of Life

A Christian's life is full of crosses though
The love of Christ does help to carry all;
At times, the burden seems much heavier, oh;
The Holy Spirit lifts when he may fall.

And Lent is not the only time to bear
New crosses, sufferings for mankind's sins;
The screams of Evil ones afills the air,
When Christian bears insults like Christ and wins.

For, Christ foretold that earthly life has strife;
God gives you burdens you carry with ease;
So, trials, tribulations fill our life;
Yet, God instills our heart and mind with peace.

But devils know that Christians all will win,
As Christ has paid the price in blood for sin.
