Sonnet: A Miracle In Life By Jesus! Poem by Dr John Celes

I came to know of Jesus right from birth!
I had full Catholic- Schooling background;
I sought and ran after all kinds of mirth;
I had bad friends and went the world around.

One bad decision led to another;
I went to parties and abused substance;
I had a ‘gala’ time with men, brother!
I never knew my misdeeds’ ‘importance’!

Something told me that something was missing;
My new affairs did not give me more joy;
There was no thrill from sex, drugs or kissing;
I wished to be a better woman coy.

When Jesus touched my heart one day again,
My soul was back to grace of God: I’m sane!
