Sonnet: A Song To God!
This life of mine, I owe to you my God;
The countless blessings I have had are yours;
Without your help, my life can’t go on, Lord;
Your infinite mercy makes me rejoice.
The world I see has gone into chaos;
The people know not what is good or wrong;
The devils roam the earth and cause our loss;
Oh, hear my pleas in heart-rending a song.
My life to you I surrender, dear God;
I need your grace to keep my soul most pure;
Please spare me from Eternal fiery rod;
Just say the word, my soul will get its cure.
O God, your heart’s a furnace of great love;
So guide me and protect me from above.

Yep, I agree, it has come out quite well and will be heard. When spiritual verses come from a heart pining for divine intercession, I'm sure the results are always in the form of an effectual, solemn prayer. Thanks Sandra for reading. I'm sure, many will love to say and sing this. Dr John Celes
