Sonnet- Advice To Terrorists Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet- Advice To Terrorists

Rating: 1.8

0 men with guns, grenades, bombs, hearts all ill!
How can you shed the blood of common men?
Or choose Church, Mosque, Temples to hide and kill?
How can this serve the cause of your brethren?

The people are already free and vote;
Why do you fight for freedom once again?
Go change your minds anew, your lives devote;
Why bullets rain when there is no good rain?

Go, douse the fire of revenge in your heart;
And let your eyes see light; lay down your arms;
Repent and think aright, Men; on your part;
Remove the weeds and grow crops on your farms.
Violence cannot achieve just anything;
The curse of God, your foolish acts could bring.
