Sonnet: Appreciation Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: Appreciation

Rating: 4.0

What if I can dance well and sing in style!
What if I can paint well and draw as well!
What if I can well run and swim the Nile!
What if I can invent and ably sell!

What if I can sculpt well much bizarre forms!
What if I can write well a novel best!
What if I can well navigate in storms!
What if I can perform well any test!

What if I can speak well on any stage!
What if I can play well the music best!
What if I can run fast in my old age!
What if I can become a honored guest!

Whatev’r we do in life, we need one thing,
And that is appreciating well, earthlings!
