Sonnet: God Has His Plans For You Poem by Dr John Celes

If God had brought you to His land of choice,
He executes His plans for your progress;
If you can’t hear His caring, soothing voice,
You train your heart to know His love excess!

If God had made you climb a mountain steep,
He will ensure you reach its lofty peak;
If half-way up, don’t see the ravines deep,
Or be worried by slips when you are weak!

If God delayed your success and limelight,
He knows the ideal time to grant you bliss;
If God’s impressed by your behavior right,
You’ll reach your aims in life and never miss!

Have trust in God who made you specially;
He knows His righteous ones especially!
