Sonnet: God's Infinite Love For Man Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: God's Infinite Love For Man

God made the earth for man, the only place,
To inhabit and procreate all life;
God gave the earth a beauteous, splendid face,
Adorable for man, despite its strife!

God made the first man Adam from this soil!
He blew His breath and gave mankind a soul;
The plan of God, the devils want to foil;
Just mankind reaches Maker by its role.

But man has curiosity immense;
He tries his best to search for God on earth;
He cannot do this with his common sense;
God gives a special purpose for each birth.

When will man realize the love of God?
His sinfulness invites the Maker's rod!
