Sonnet: Honesty In Life Poem by Dr John Celes

An honest life is better lived on earth;
The mind is free and heart is always strong;
You realize the meaning of your birth;
God rains His grace and bestows life-span long.

Soul-care is easier to an honest soul;
As truth is God, a holy life is led;
The road is clear ahead in every role;
In face of trials, cool remains your head.

Yet, world today shuns honest folk outright;
At times, life can be miserable too;
But God is guide to all who walk upright;
A righteous one, most blunders cannot do.

Before 'tis late, your ways, you better mend;
'Tis honesty that triumphs in the end.
