Our minds are filled with perpetual conflict,
As to how well to spend our lives on earth;
And yet, our worldly ways should not inflict
The punishment of Hell after our death.
One’s passion should not overtake one’s heart;
Desires need not always be fulfilled;
Enjoyment must be sinless from the start;
We keep the road to Heaven as God-willed!
Our life on earth does have a true purpose;
We must find out and live in accordance,
And till achieved, we shouldn’t ever repose;
God will reward our earthly performance.
The soul’s requirements are prime always;
Accordingly, we tune our earthly days.
