Sonnet- Man Lives In Sin - Poem by Dr. A.Celestine Raj Manohar M.D.,

I see most men's, women's hearts steep'd in sin;
At the devil's mercy, lives spend they all;
By hook or crook; by all bad means, they win,
A game by dice than by playing the ball.

'Tis hard to see a single person true;
The best of minds like iron too gets rust;
Let me not blame man but life's changing hue,
Engulf'd his heart lies in a sinful crust.

If men look bad much to my human eyes,
How much worse off they would be in God's look?
In utter chaos, their life and work lies;
Men do not live as per the Sacred Book.
O God, wilt Thou bring back Deluge again?
Or destroy earth by locusts, sulfur-Rain?
