The love and lovely care that parents gave
To children till they are independent,
Are incredible and colossal save
They can't be reciprocated nor lent.
But children never know its value till
The ebbing years and wisdom fills their brain;
Life's problems take the chunk of time until
They themselves take on parents' role with pain!
Their kids are tougher than what they had been;
With time, they realize what parents did;
Both guilt and anguish fills their hearts unseen;
They wish they did what parents had them bid!
This wheel of time will turn in newer lanes,
As fervent prayers bring God's grace like rains!
