Sonnet: On Valentine's Day Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: On Valentine's Day

Red rose is best despite the other hues!
A heart of roses red is Valentine;
Each flower has perfume and many views;
The road to love in life is serpentine.

You cannot do a thing without some risk;
You have to lose in life to gain and win;
The person wise will always stay quite brisk;
The soul-alert avoids all kinds of sin.

Admire valentines who love renew;
The special day gives joy and peace of heart;
It seems like drinking water pure like dew;
Proposing love to next is more an art.

Let Valentine's Day inspire the youth;
Let world thus acknowledge love rules as truth.
