The twin cities of Sodom, Gomorrah
Had people steeped in awful mortal sins;
Their misdemeanor had gone very far;
His words through angels, God will never mince!
His kindness stayed with family of just Lot;
The angels warned them not to turn and see;
God rained down brimstone, sulphur to clear rot;
Lot's wife did turn out of curiosity!
A salty pillar rock, she turned at once -
The price of disobedience to God's word;
Her earlier life had blunted her good sense;
So would be things when world ends called by Lord!
At Armageddon, there's no time to waste;
And saved will be just ones who are all chaste!
