Sonnet: The One Earth God Made Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: The One Earth God Made

The planet earth is one where man can live;
No other place is suitable for him;
A habitat like this, no one can give
Among the galaxies, light years and dim.

And earth evolved millions of years ago;
Human efforts to find another fail;
To live on here, man has no other go;
Despite the feats of scientists, we may hail.

Man's search amidst the space remains in vain;
No probe can find life human-like elsewhere;
Supremacy of God is in the main;
Research is futile despite being rare.

God made one earth for human beings just;
Be satisfied with gratitude, man must.
