Sonnet: The Road For Righteousness Isn’t Easy Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet: The Road For Righteousness Isn’t Easy

When just a child, I thought this world was good,
But never knew that wily were persons,
Who fought amongst for everything to food,
And sinned all life ’gainst God without reasons!

When now adult, I know the world bit well;
The honest ones still suffer for Truth’s sake!
Unfairness, lies have made the world like Hell;
But success to undeserving is fake!

As wise adult, my intuition helps me,
Avoiding vices and evil-doers;
I don’t care for my so called destiny!
I love to be amongst the truth-lovers!

All days cannot remain always breezy;
The road for Righteousness is not easy!
