God speaks to me a language very strange,
And beckons me to tend to my soul’s needs;
He talks on subjects, variety in range;
My inner hunger, certainly He feeds!
No more I feel my earthly problems prime;
I have reset my aims and ambitions;
My spirit calls to make my life sublime;
The grace of God sheds my inhibitions.
Restored has God, my mental peace in me,
The world attempts to unsettle me though;
My truthfulness will gain me more victory,
Despite ordeals, my mind does undergo.
With God beside, my life is truly great,
And evil-doers dare not change my state!
