Sonnet- 'Tis Satan ‘s Work Poem by Dr John Celes

Sonnet- 'Tis Satan ‘s Work

My worries continue unabated;
They level charges falsely on me often;
My life's voyage on land is uncharted;
My problems seem not to ever soften.

This is the work of Lucifer et all;
He wants my life's harmony to disturb;
Impatiently, he waits to see me fall;
With God beside, He cannot me perturb;

My problems are Satan in origin;
I know the wily Evil One too well;
He lures me hard to commit mortal sin;
The punishment of which is only Hell.

Begone Satan, Thou Liar of all times!
My woes can't hurt me when embalmed by Rhymes.
