Sonnets Of Sorrow Poem by anthony francis alcones

Sonnets Of Sorrow

A blood to my pride
I cast my eyes
Hatred raced through
Flood of tears flowed

My sense of honor defeated me
Vengeance thrusting within
First time ever in my life
I walked in pain

My steps now are uncertain
A grief not so feeble is hard
To cure
When my memory recalls my
Greatest failure
I failed….. I failed… I failed…

My value degraded, rejected,
Discouraged…..
