Sophistication Poem by jolenish fiber

Sophistication

anyone can drink, and get tipsy, or smashed, or pass out,
but only the real people who drink and can taste the taste,
will ever know what real drinking is without ever needing to do such brawlery. only teenagers should drink in such a manner, never grown men unless their wife died the night before.

anyone can try to smoke, get addicted to smoking and stink all the time with their eyes drooped and their appetites raging like a blobby mass,
but only the real smokers who purchase the finest quality of cigars can handle such a fluff of smoke, and hold it the way they should, and put it out and stick it in their pocket they way they ought to.

anyone can do eithr of these 'adult things' and pretend to act like they know, but being one is another matter for the consensous.
