Soprano Poem by Danny Ballan

Soprano

Rating: 3.5

Her voice can soar up high in the sky,
Can her soul fly with her, too?
With a moment of glory she stood,
Will her glory shine all the way
Down to her core?

She dances with her tunes
Like an acrobat girl
So nimbly untied the knots of my soul,
And she took me with her
On one long rope we walked
linking reality to imagination,
And we dreamed
The world would end that moment
And freeze us on that platform,
Where no man can enter
Not without her.
Does she know what she has done?
Does she know all this happened?
Does she know who I am?

She rose on the stage
Like the wrath of Poseidon-
She swept all other senses,
And like deep underwater
You only feel her around-
Filling every empty space.
Then she lets you float,
The only time you wish
You had actually drowned.
And then when all her rage comes to a halt,
And you think the world for some reason is over,
A moment must be taken
To understand what had happened around.
Then everybody rushes to their hands
And greet her with a great applause.

A lovely appreciation, how you are mesmerized by her voice and her dance.
