Sorrow Poem by MiChaela Giles

Sorrow

Rating: 4.5

Sorrow is the bill collector knocking on a mother's door,
It sounds like the organ playing at a funeral,
It tastes like the guilt of a murder,
It smells like the layer of an onion,
Sorrow is like the pain of the slaves brought from Africa
