From day to day
I live my life
as if it were my last
day here,
or....
at least I try.

Having most my days
being full of sorrow and bitterness
with happiness
out of reach.
I applaud you
in your efforts to heal
this pain.

When you manage to break
the hard exterior walls
my spirits become lifted
my emotions become postive
with a feeling of joy.
My life seems grand
not wanting my day to end
In fear that once again
It'll be full of sorrow and bitterness.
