Sorrow Of Migrants Poem by Ishrat khan

Sorrow Of Migrants

Sleepless birds singing their sorrow
to the rabbits trapped in the darkest burrow
Of the humans gone insane nd seperated
This pandemic when put people isolated
Living far from their own families
The virus has conquered like an enemy
Tears r rolling from the bird's eyes
As it sings while passing by the sad demise
Who would've ever thought?
will come days to face this terrible drought
The bird curses the Billgates who cheered at homeless,
Who died with just sneezes nd coughs
Corona is nothing but a US govt's curse
Until they absolute thier target, they'll make it more worse
The bird weeps at the lifeless nd hungry poorer's suffering
to overcome their nostalgia they're struggling
Causing lack of food and lack of money
to them; it mourns as unemployment is their only sorrowful journey
The victorious virus trained us to b tolerant
When the bird sings of the despaired migrants
