Sodom: The Sinful City Poem by Ishrat khan

Sodom: The Sinful City

Rating: 5.0

A city named Sodom was a sickening nation
Prophet lut was chosen for this hard mission
He was a messenger lived with his wife and daughters
He knew no one there for he was isolated
Their violent and unnatural acts thunderstruck him
Crime to the deepest; wickedness he had ever seen
Filled with homosexuality; blinded by their lust
Lut's nation in the history regarded as most worst
'Fear Allah obey him! 'he strived to call out to his people
To cease such immoral act he was helpless n unable
Despite his call they commit in public men to men
They desire the same sex after leaving their women
Travellers through the lut's nation for property they grab
Kill rape n force them to engage in evilness isn't a minor mishap
Once his younger daughter saw three men coming
She ran to his father nd said they're from outside living
They were young and handsome to the people of sodom
Lut was all afraid and didn't want to welcome
He asked 'who are you? ' They said 'we are guests'
To tell them to go back he was so embarrassed
He took them along nd not let anyone notice them
Lut's wife was a disbeliever she exposed these three attractive men
His tribe began to gather outside his house
Banging his door trying to break caused total chaos
They were the angels who asked him to leave this place with daughter
'Do not look back except your wife for she was transgressor'
Morning was the appointed time by Allah for destruction
Jibrael as took his original form to the people of seduction
Their engraved names on brimstone rained with force upon them
Allah's wrath upon non believers isn't a seldom
Lut nd his daughter left the tribe with no harm
With the tip of Angel's wing the tribe turned upside down
How evil was the rain for those who had been warned!
The terrific scream nd an earthquake rocked the city drowned
Now the tribe of a lut known as the dead sea
A sign to remember the place of torment of the nation sodomy
