Sorry



the day isn’t the brightest today
that feeling has gone and left me astray
moving about alone I listen myself talk
in the pond I can’t help but gawk

what have I done I can’t reconcile
this soul builds upon me like heavy pile
the shame won’t let me breathe right
my conscience is ready for a fight
