Being A Husband/Boyfriend/Man Poem by Jasjiv Singh

Being A Husband/Boyfriend/Man

I have seen this happen before
You win, I lose, you keep score
Never have you told the rules to me
Asking you is like inviting blasphemy
As soon as I learn to win
You change the game, (oh what a sin)
I struggle to keep my points high
No help from you, not even a sigh
I put in extra just to be at par
But never seem catch up to your speeding car
I understand golf, tennis, cricket and football
But this one thing makes my head spin and fall
I was a player before I met you
Now I am just a loser without a clue
