Sorry My Love Poem by Dan Jensen

Sorry My Love

My love, I may sometimes say,
Things I don't mean, things not in my way,
I see that sadness in your eye,
Know that I regret, and I know why.

My love, I am sorry,
I put you a burden,
I gave you a worry,
I gave you a burden for you to carry.

My love, I ask myself all the time,
Why back then, I did that crime,
I hurt you back then, and it hurts you now,
Well love, I'm sorry and come to my arms now.

My love, I am sorry,
I put you a burden,
I gave you a worry,
I gave you a burden for you to carry.

Please don't think wrongly of us,
Those mistakes will always be noxious,
I comitted love, but also fails,
Put them inside a million jails.

My love, I am sorry,
I put you a burden,
I gave you a worry,
I gave you a burden for you to carry.

I love you so much, don't forget that,
I'm not ever gonna forget what we back then had,
But what we have now, is deeper, and not in vain,
And only our love, you and I, can put to blame.

My love, I am sorry,
I put you a burden,
I gave you a worry,
I gave you a burden for you to carry.

Our love now, is strong and made of steel,
This is what is supposed, for us to feel,
Not sorrow, not sadness but loves rush,
And my hand against your hair, feel it brush.

My love, I am sorry,
I put you a burden,
I gave you a worry,
I gave you a burden for you to carry.

Your skin is bruised, and your heart is scarred,
But let me heal you, let me get you unscarred,
Take my hand, let me show you,
What part of this world, you really belong to.

My love, I am sorry,
I gave you wounds, I gave you that burden,
I wish to take it away, and away it shall stay,
That burden for me, please bare,
Know that if you need help, I'll always be here.
