Soul. Poem by Geetanjali Saini

Soul.

Rating: 5.0

Mind, a whirlpool of thoughts.
Each entangled in another.
In stories, reality & dreams,
In truth, lies & imaginations.
Stuck & consumed.

In the black hole,
Of nothingness,
Numbness prevails.
Where mind meets peace.

Peace of another kind.
That elevates & comforts.
Peace that embraces,
Forgives & refrains.

That moment,
Where nothing matters,
Like nothing, ever did.

That moment,
Where the soul slides,
Over the river of completeness.
In isolation & solace.

This feeling,
This moment,
This state,
An endless delay.
An endless desire,
A solemn hope.

Someday, One day,
The mind will sync with the heart.
One day, Someday,
The whirlpool will halt.
And may be,
Just may be,
Peace will encircle the soul.
