Soul Control - Poem by Bee Kilpatrick

I surrender long ago
And I have been waiting
For you to take control
Your words are etched
In history

Incomplete instructions
For us to see
Cut like a knife
Through eternity
At my soul

If I only knew how to believe
Or is all of history
Just make believe
Oh why did you
Have to involve me

When do you plan on
Taking control of my soul
Until then could you please
Have your angels do
A little soul patrol

A little soul patrol
Until you take
Complete control
Of my soul
For eternity
