Soul Of The Flowers - Poem by Joyce Williams
Stricken with an illness,
and longing to be free - I cared for my precious flowers
and they, in turn - cared
for me. They taught me how to love
and revealed their lovely souls
to me. Discovering the joy of life,
and caring for these tiny plants, to give them drink when they
were thirsty. to gently remove the dead debris,
to give them life.
They gave mine back to me.
