Soul11 - Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

When we speak of spirits or souls we define the character
Not some ghostly or invincible matter
God sees through our very own eyes
Hears through our ears when we speak of lies
The spirit is the attitude of what we choose to define
The beauty and wonder of each design
What you cannot see, hear and feel
Has no importance and is not real
The spirit defines the identity of a person or a nation
Of what is its desires and admiration
So don't believe too much of ghosts in your house
The noise was probably made by the mouse
Our souls belongs to the universe we are trying to explore
To be the sparkling stars in the heavens that we all adore
Reunited with God as a form of gas and element
Something not written in the Bible's testament
