Mary screams we'll just float
As I try in vain to right our boat
Death awaits us on the shoals
MARY. "Then thank your God we have souls"

Well thought out and nicely encapsulated with artistic brilliance in beautiful rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing.

I have read all three of your poems and see small flashes of conceptual greatness in them. I anticipate more from you in the future.

Death awaits us on the shoals MARY. Then thank your God we have souls....it is a great consolation at the moment of death to think that our life does not end here. we have souls. we will live in another beautiful world of peace. tony
