If our bodies are just flesh and bone
Then why are we unique?
Is there something more to us,
than the person that we see?
Genetic differences we can see
our eyes, our skin, our hair
these differences don't matter,
when we all breathe the same air
We all have the same importance
and in body, we are the same
but somewhere deep beneath out hearts
burns an individual flame
Without a soul we'd all be clones
and this is not the case
Each individual has a spark
behind our human face
A new born baby, new to life
isn't told how she should be
She's born with the knowledge of who she is
it's not taught by you or me
Two people meet and fall in love
And 'sense' its meant to be
its none of the five senses that we know
Its a sixth sense we can't see
When a human life comes to an end
Its their bodies that are gone
if we believe and let our sixth sense 'feel'
Their spirit, still lives on.
