Soulwork Poem by Ruerd Visser

Soulwork

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes it's o so tough an act
to pretend to be someone your not.
The mask you're wearing seems
to be the real you and noone
can see you for who you really are,
even though they have their suspicions.
But someone will come and see trough
it all deep in your heart and soul.
Will grasp that role youre playing
for the world you live in so worn
down and tired of it all.
And then the soulwork is in order,
where you slowly but surely
are unmasked by that radiant
light in the soul.
That light that melts every mask
with love.
That light that reveals you're true
presence:
You're shining being,
that needs no mask to present itself
to the world.
