Sound Of Sorrow Poem by Austin Moore

Sound Of Sorrow

Every waking moment feels like you are drowning me
Drowning in my thoughts of you, drowning in my memory
You sing a song of misery, the song you didn’t choose
I wish that you would let me be someone that you could lose
Lay me in this hollow tree, my coffin forever more
Your screeching sound of sorrow, I wish I could ignore
